Is it a hop-on hop-off bus?
No. It is one departure, one 60–75 minute loop and one seat for the whole show, on a covered coach rather than an open top. You don't plan a route or change buses; you sit down and the show and the city come to you.
Do we get off the bus at the landmarks?
No. The 19 landmarks are seen from your seat as we pass, through extra-large sideways windows, and the show runs the whole way. No stops, no queues, no walking. Great if you have limited time or tired feet.
Which characters will we meet?
Shakespeare, a certain boy wizard and a rock legend in a yellow jacket, for a start. The rest of the cast stays a surprise until they climb aboard.
What stories will we hear?
How London began, the origin of Big Ben and the day Princess Diana was married at St Paul's, among others. They are performed, not read, and they change with the cast on board.
How long is the experience?
60 to 75 minutes depending on London traffic, starting and ending at Victoria Embankment.
Where do we meet?
Coach Bay, 40B Victoria Embankment, London WC2N 6PB. The nearest stations are Embankment and Charing Cross. Please arrive 15 minutes before your departure; the bus cannot wait for late arrivals.
Is it suitable for kids and families?
Yes. There is no minimum age, and groups and families always sit together. It is family-friendly and one of the most-praised parts of the experience for families. Children love the characters and the interaction.
What if it rains?
The show runs rain or shine. The coach is covered, heated and air-conditioned, so you watch the weather happen to other people.
